WE DID IT! 11 SONGS RECORDED IN 5 DAYS!

 That's right! Last week we went into the studio for 5 days and managed to smash out 11 brand new songs! We recorded at City of Westminister College where Mixmaster Hemy works as a tech in their very new and shiny looking proper professional studio!

Did we mention it was hot? Dear god it was hot. The main room was 30 something and then the isolated Sweaty Drum Room of Death which Kyle came to call his home for an uncomfortable portion of the five days was probably hitting 40. He was laying down drum tracks in swimming shorts and trainers basically.

Matt gave up wearing t-shirts all together as he said they 'restricted his flow'. No we don't know what that means either. He sure did get results though! At one point he actually fell to the floor he was giving the vocal take so much! UUGGGHHH!!

You may have heard rumours that it's Roger's fault that 'We Are The Sons & Daughters of GG Allin' now has an extra verse in it. These rumours are yet to be proven, but we did have a few instances of going back and having to insert an extra verse in here, an extra break in there...I think the heat was getting to us.

As we were recording at a college we had to be out by 6/7 each day, and we literally finished the last backup vocal for the last song with 10 minutes to spare before they kicked us out on the last day!

So what's next?! Hemy is going on holiday, then he's going to mix and master the session in September, with the album hopefully out by the end of the year! It'll definetely be on CD and all digital places, we know that much. We're uhming and ahhing about artwork and titles but we seriously cannot wait to share these 11 songs with you dudes. Even completely unmixed with totally raw drums they're already sounding next level for us. Watch this space!!
